Join the CeFCo European Workshop in February

The results of five pilots will be shared and discussed including options for contractor certification, and the potential benefits of certification for contractors, landowners, and industry.  

The workshop will provide the opportunity to learn more about contractor certification through speakers sharing their experiences with this new type of certification, a visit to a project field site in a Portuguese forest, and information sessions on topics of interest to participants.  

The workshop will be held at Seminario Torre de Aguilha, in the beautiful town of Sao Domingos de Rana, in the Caiscais county. This is about 20 minutes from Lisbon, and we have reserved a number of hotel rooms for participants.

The workshop is organised as follows: 

• Day 1: Learn about project results and lessons learned regarding certification standard development, field testing of certification, and the potential for contractor certification in Europe.
• Day 2: Visit a Portuguese forest and learn more about how contractor certification works.
• Day 3: Training and information on topics requested by meeting participants.  This is a special opportunity to receive information directly from the project partners on topics of special interest to you.
